The Dirty Truth about Clean, Green Wind Power

How it works...

Production tax credits and other relief from our government attract multi-billion dollar corporations whose profits are subject to tax. Tax credits from their wind power branches are transferred to the mother company, erasing all or part of their tax bills.

  • Without the tax credits it's a losing business that wouldn't exist.
  • With the tax credits, you and I ultimately pay for the ineffective sky factory.

  • We pay through mandatory surcharges on our electric bills.
  • We pay with the opportunities lost developing real green energy solutions.
  • We pay because of the damaging distraction the wind industry creates.
  • We pay with community division and loss of pride in our area.

The most successful companies in the world should pay their taxes with a smile. Instead they ruin our landscapes and habitats while using billions of our tax dollars to boost their profits.  In return we get a piddling stream of unreliable electricity.

This money should be used for real energy solutions that matter in the long run.

Here is a list of companies who have attended wind financial scheme seminars in the past. Why don't more of them advertise that they are involved in cooling our planet and cleaning our air? Could it be they don't believe it themselves? Or perhaps the advertising expense would cost them some of the tax break money they so diligently pursue. Click here to see the list...

 You won't find their names on the sky factories they finance. Why is that? Where is the pride in saving the planet?

A bad solution to a good cause, wind turbines are monumental symbols of action. They symbolize response to our energy challenges, but are in reality just a banner - not part of the cure. Flailing their arms screaming "I'm here to help!"  Their folly must be faced for generations to come.

Don't sell Logan County and the rest of Ohio’s beauty for an inept and temporary technology that may soon whither and die.  Don't leave this kind of mess for your Grandkids to clean up.

Our country's big money influences are behind this. It's on the television at almost every turn of the channel. That's not cheap! Ask yourself - Are these big money influences promoting big wind for our common GOOD? for our PLANET? or for some other reason. . .
