The department and purpose of the role:

The CFO will report directly to the Senior CFO who is responsible for college assignments, student experience, and areas and facilities. The position will support financial publications and planning for Estates & Finance, being involved in forward-looking forecasting and planning as well as ensuring financial compliance and having key involvement with wider colleagues from finance, resources human rights and the CIS in order to advance the goals. areas and facilities. The role will also be involved in change management as the University undertakes a key project around financial systems and process development

The role will be to manage an online finance assistant who will provide transactional finance processes to the Estates & Facilities area. It is anticipated that these 2 positions will become a key support service for the Estates and Facilities area, developing specialist knowledge to assist and provide excellent customer service and best practices for all Estates & Facilities colleagues.
