St. Louis Area Diaper Bank Hires Director of Operations and Finance | Business
The St. Louis Area Diaper Bank recently appointed Nicole Ekblad as Director of Operations and Finance. In this role, she will develop and implement strategic systems for the agency’s warehouse, office operations, finance and human resources. His responsibilities include overseeing the organization’s processes in terms of quality, productivity and efficiency.
Prior to joining the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank, Ekblad was director of operations for a religious nonprofit organization. Previously, she worked as Associate Director of Operations for a nonprofit alliance focused on marginalized communities in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ekblad received his Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit and Corporate Leadership from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The St. Louis Area Diaper Bank collects and distributes diapers to local low-income families who do not have access to this essential resource. The non-profit organization, which has distributed nearly 3 million diapers through its more than 50 partner organizations to 55,000 families since its inception in 2014, raises awareness of the causes and consequences of the need for diapers in the community of St. Louis.
